Moody's is the provider of credit ratings for government entities globally, including the United States' credit rating that is often talked about by the media. When you hear a U.S. President (as shown in this video), political leader, media sycophant, or any other talking head on the typical far-left, radical, kook-fringe websites (MoveOn, MotherJones, DNC, DSCC, DCCC, Huffington Compost, etc.) ever say the words "shutdown" and either "default" or "credit rating" in the same sentence, they are are either LYING to you, or they are TOO STUPID to know they're wrong.

There is only one way we could go into default and have our credit rating affected is if the President ORDERS the Treasury Department to NOT pay the interest on the debt, and such an order would be in violation of the 14th Amendment, Section 4 of the Constitution (hereinafter referred to as 14/4, more on that in a moment). Not only is there NOT going to be a default, (unless the President orders non-payment) the shutdown won't affect the country's credit rating, either (unless the President allows default). I seriously can't understand why some people actually fall for this crap that our "leaders" and media are spewing forth with impunity, thinking we are a bunch of suckers who will just repeat this complete B.S. to our friends and family ... uh ... um .. wait ... never mind.

About the 14th Amendment, Section 4: I have, believe it or not, personally witnessed some ignorant kook-fringe, DNC-type liberals and seen other left-wing nutjobs, like this far-left extremist at Slate.com, that apparently know nothing about the Constitution, actually say (or write) that Obama should use 14/4 to unilaterally raise the debt ceiling, therefore, avoiding the [non-existent] risk of default, justifying this unconstitutional move by calling this a "national emergency", as if that would somehow get rid of the separation of powers as enumerated in the Constitution. One of these same people subsequently suggested that POTUS should charge all the GOP members with sedition. That insane comment rendered every argument she made until that point invalid, thank you very much.

UPDATE: Why I didn't notice this before is beyond me, but it figures. The "sedition" idiot got the idea from ... wait for it ... wait for it ... MoveOn.org LMAO!  You know what they say: Birds of a feather... SMDH.

This is straight-up DNC talking-point excrement of the bull persuasion, and these people making that argument haven't even READ the entire 14th Amendment for themselves, and I will prove that they haven't ... 

The very NEXT section, Section 5 of the same Amendment 14 states the following: "The Congress shall have power to enforce, by appropriate legislation, the provisions of this article.", meaning, the raising of the debt limit is not within the scope of enumerated powers that the POTUS has, under ANY circumstances, even a national emergency. These ignorant people just regurgitate DNC/MS-LSD talking points, and don't even bother to read the Constitution to verify if what they are being told by the Daily Show or MotherJones is utter nonsense or not.

I digress. The POTUS and his ilk really need to either:
A) stop lying to everyone and stoking fear into the psyche of the American public for political expedience  OR  
B) become familiar with the Constitution, not just with the parts that the DNC want you to see.
I must confess that neither are likely to happen.

The U.S. won't, and can't default (unless the Prez makes it happen) anytime soon, and neither the shutdown, nor keeping the debt ceiling at $16.7 trillion will affect our credit rating, so says Moody's, and so says the Constitution.

I’ve seen a Twitter tweet several times on my newsfeed originating from a far-left, extremist, law-breaker named Judd Legum. This kook-fringe radical was at one time the research director for the tax-evading criminal front group, Center for American Progress (or CAP), a {cough! cough!} “non-partisan” {cough! cough!} “think tank” founded by that partisan hack, John Podesta (former Chief of Staff for Clinton).

CAP hides behind its tax-exempt status (501c3, 501c4) to avoid disclosing its donors, even though 100% of their activities are partisan, hack, and far-left “progressive”, including many hatchet jobs as the DNC’s personal attack hit machine on anyone non-Democrat, the fact that half the time they have to retract their hit pieces, notwithstanding. This garbage organization gets millions in donations from the filthy, stinking, self-hating anti-Semite, out of touch, rich one-percenter billionaire, George Soros. Furthermore, CAP has revealed that they generally hate Jews.

The smarmy, sanctimonious, pretentious, rich, one-percenter windbag lawyer, Legum, tweets out this metaphorical mini-scenario parody of the Continuing Resolution discussion (or lack thereof) taking place in the Senate (which would never be happening in the first place if Dingy Harry Reid [din’-jē, not diŋ’-ē, although both could apply] did something other than table budget/appropriations bill after bill after bill since 2009 like the obstructionist that he is). At any rate, for those who have seen it, perhaps there’s another way to look at his silly little story. On the left is his actual Twitter tweet, and on the right is the other way to look at it. I really don't care which way someone is inclined to see it, as most will only see the side consistent with their own bias.

Unconstitutional Obamacare And The People That Love It

This idiot on www.neogaf.com, who goes by the pseudonym "empty vessel" (a propos?), responded to "[Obamacare will be implemented with] the compassion of the IRS, the efficiency of the post office, and the incompetence of Katrina." with the following stupid-assed rhetorical question:

Forget about the probability that this imbecile pays for and will continue to pay for insurance from a "private" company, the irrefutable fact that this sub-100-IQ, dense, empty vessel doesn't think about (or he does, but doesn't disclose, probably to avoid facing the reality of an argument implosion):

1. The government is the one making the rules.
2. They make them up as they go along.
3. The government hates competition.
4. Obamacare is not the government providing your insurance, they are simply compelling (forcing?) the insurance companies to provide it to you.

But, I'll humor this fool. Even based on his false premise that the Fed is actually providing insurance, shall we use a football analogy that would work in either case?

Take your most-hated nemesis team in the NFL playing against your team. Instead of your nemesis team being called by their true team name, we shall call them the "Federal Government Stealers", or "Thieves" for short, and instead of your favorite team's name being what it truly is, we'll give it the name "Private Insurers", or "Insurers" for short. It's game time.

Now, for the coin flip!

Insurers kick the ball to Thieves' five yard line. The kick-returner catches the ball, runs backward into the end zone, and downs it.

Thieves' Coach Soetoro, ("Coach Harry" for short) rushes the field, "Nope. Our ball on the Insurers' 20 yard line. Ah ah ah! Don't complain! I'll sanction, fine, and imprison you. Now, where was I? Oh, yes. Special Teams, on the field for a field goal attempt!"

The crowd, Insurers, and ref shake their collective heads in disbelief, as it is still the first down, yet, they're going for a field goal? Kind of stupid, but hey, this is the Federal Government we are talking about here, so it is not that surprising after all.

The kick is up! And ... it's ... 2 yards short! A pathetic, albeit usual performance from the Federal Government.

Coach Harry rushes onto the field, "No! No! No! Crew! Move that damned goal post up five yards, NOW! Do over! And YOU, you dirty Insurers, you BETTER start playing by the rules!"

The kick is up! A-a-a-a-a-and it's short again!

"I don't want to enforce that particular rule just yet.", screams a whiny Coach Harry as he crosses his arms and stomps his left foot up and down six times.

"Game over! Insurers? Disband! You can no longer play here. Furthermore, you must pay our salaries from here out, and pay for our fans' hotdogs, popcorn, beer and cotton candy. Now GTFO."
